As of January 2014, The Department of Health commenced the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) in an effort to provide basic dental services to children between the ages of two and 17. Families who qualify for the Benefits Schedule will receive all of the basic dental services allowed within the program, including exams, cleanings, x-rays, fissure sealants, fillings, and extractions.
Eligible children have a benefit cap of $1,000 over a two-year calendar period.
